  • Dozens of Market Feasibility Studies for Loblaw Properties Limited, the Canadian supermarket chain leader, as part of the evolution of the Canadian supermarket industry from food to include non-food merchandise (hypermarket retail)
  • The entry of Wal-Mart department stores / Supercentres (food and non-food merchandise) into the Canadian market in the 1990's, created a competitive environment. The Canadian supermarket industry adapted to compete

  • Market impact studies for the Hudson's Bay Corporation (HBC), the major Canadian department store chain, opposing Wal-Mart department store development applications across Canada

  • Retail feasibility of the first Mills Corporation format shopping centre in Canada, located in north Toronto (1.2 million sq. ft. / 110,000 m2)
  • Also conducted a research feasibility of a second Mills format shopping centre in Calgary, Canada



  • Highest and Best Land Use Study for Native Indian lands, to be expropriated by major urban municipality for the development of a motorway corridor
  • Potential land uses were determined to identify values for the land parcel under expropriation
  • Uses identified included, retail, office, industrial, residential, hotel and leisure
  • Project size included several thousand acres
